How Does an Ultrasonic Parts Cleaner Work?

  1. Choosing the Appropriate Aqueous Solution: The cleaning solution should be suitable for the part that is to be cleaned. Items like jewelry and watches need to be handled with special care and can be easily damaged by harsh chemicals. It is the solution which will be doing the cleaning, not the ultrasonic sound waves.   2. Prepare the Device: The solution and the parts to be cleaned are placed inside the ultrasonic cleaner.
  3. Turn on the Device: The device is then turned on and ultrasonic sound waves start being produced by it.
  4. The Cleaning Process: The sound waves will manipulate the cleaning solution in such a way that is will start to form cavitation bubbles. These bubbles will allow the solution to enter even the finest cracks in the object being cleaned. Therefore, even the toughest grime in the tiniest cracks will be cleaned.
Turn off the Device: This process barely takes a few minutes. Once, the device is turned off the shiny and clean object can be removed from the ultrasonic parts cleaner.
